Farming attracted the Nunn Family to the rich soils of Brentwood almost 150 years ago. At just 20 years old, George Nunn came to town to work the grain harvest. He saw promise and a successful future living and working with the kind people of Brentwood. Slowly, other family members joined him and they set down roots in their beautiful surroundings. They began building a farming business that is still run by third, fourth and fifth generation members of the Nunn Family. Today, the Nunn Family, supported by a team of dedicated professionals, continues a tradition of bringing superb agricultural products to California.

As 5th generation California farmers, we are so incredibly proud to continue our family’s farming legacy! Our goal is to continue to serve our community and provide a fun, educational location for locals and visitors to participate in the harvesting of the food they put on their tables. We are excited to have the opportunity to bring our own “modern twist” on traditional farm stands!

It was in the 1970s that our grandfather, George Nunn, worked with other local farm families to educate the general public about farming in the “Brentwood Region.” This was the beginning of Harvest Time. Any farm or ranch in Contra Costa County was welcome to join. Today, over 60 local farms are members of Harvest Time.
